What a boob!
I was feeling deflated, and Dale was hiding a secret...
As I arranged my silk dressing gown to show off my ample assets, I heard the front door go. ‘Dale, why don't you come upstairs?' I purred.
Me and my husband Dale, 28, might have been married for seven years, but none of the spark had gone out of our relationship. I'd often treat him to an exotic dance, or surprise him with a kinky outfit.
He raced up the stairs and straight into my arms. Gave me a smacker on the lips, then moved down to my bosom.
Dale had always had a soft spot for my boobs and, at size 34F, I had more than enough to keep him happy! But over the years, I'd had four children and gravity had inevitably taken its toll. Truth was, if I whipped off my push-up bra, I wasn't quite so happy with my looks.
But I wasn't going to let my saggy assets get me down. That's why I'd saved up and booked myself in for a boob job. ‘This time tomorrow, I'll be a pert G-cup,' I said.
‘I can't wait,' Dale chuckled, picking me up and throwing me down on the bed...
The next day, I went in for surgery. As I drifted off to sleep under the anaesthetic, I thought about what my new boobs would look like. I'd show them off in vest tops, bikinis, boob tubes, halter necks...
A few hours later, as I groggily came round, Dale was there. ‘Hello, sweetheart,' he said.
‘Hi,' I smiled at him, as he kissed me on the forehead.
We both looked down at my chest. ‘Shall we take a peek?' I said. We lifted back the blanket. It was hard to tell through all the bandages, but I could have sworn the right boob was smaller! ‘But they're uneven,' I panicked.
‘I'm sure they'll be fine. They said they'd take a while to settle down,' he reassured me. No, something was wrong. There was a burning pain in the muscle, too.
The next day when the doctor removed the bandages, I looked at them in the mirror - and recoiled in horror. My left boob was uneven and long. The right one was smaller and went a funny shape when I flexed. ‘They're hideous,' I sobbed.
‘They are a little uneven,' the doctor admitted. He said that I could have more surgery to correct them... but I'd have to pay for it.
When Dale picked me up at the hospital, I was brimming with tears. ‘What's wrong, love?' he asked.
‘Everything,' I sobbed. ‘They're hideous.' He tried to reassure me but, when we got home, I pushed all of my lacy bras and revealing tops to the back of the wardrobe. How could I show off my curves when I looked like a monster?!
Instead, I covered up in baggy jumpers to disguise my figure. The surgery had taken away all of my confidence. What's more, the burning pain had spread to my back, and I was in constant agony.
That night, I turned the light off and slipped into bed wearing a baggy T-shirt. I was just drifting off to sleep when I felt Dale's hand reach across and touch my stomach. I flinched. ‘Don't,' I whispered.
‘It's okay, I don't mind,' he said, pulling me closer.
‘No, please don't go anywhere near me,' I sobbed. He rolled over and went to sleep. I wanted to be intimate with Dale, but I felt so self-conscious that I just couldn't. I was a frump now compared to the sexy woman I was when I used to satisfy Dale's every desire.
As days turned into weeks, me and Dale drifted further and further apart. We used to be able to talk to each other about anything, and would even sit up playing Scrabble for hours. Now, though, we just watched TV in separate rooms.
We'd gone from a loving couple having sex four or five times a week, to having no connection at all.

I was really hurt by the change in our relationship. Although I wasn't up for having a sex life, I still wanted someone to talk to and snuggle up on the sofa with. But Dale drifted further away, and soon he was going out with his mates every weekend.
After 10 months, I was bored at home one night while Dale was at the pub with his friends. Maybe I'd find something nice to buy on eBay. I opened the internet browser and a website flashed up.
A dating website. For couples, swingers and like-minded people just looking for sex.
I felt sick to my stomach. Dale must have logged on there to find a woman to have sex with! In his rush to go out with his pals, he'd clearly forgotten to close what he was looking at.
Anger surged through me as I clicked the ‘inbox' icon. Scrolling down, I saw messages that he'd sent to different girls. One woman was quite plain with mousey brown hair and no boobs. It was like a kick in the face. He really preferred her over me?!
You look sexy, are you single? she'd typed to him.
Yep, I am, he'd replied. I felt my blood boil. He wasn't single, he was married to me!
Can I have your number? she'd asked.
I couldn't read any more, felt utterly humiliated. I'd been such a fool! Well, I couldn't wait to confront Dale...
When he came in, I was sitting on the sofa with the laptop. ‘Oh, hello,' he said, surprised to see me still up.
‘What site have you been on?' I demanded, turning the laptop around to show the dating website to him.
‘What? I didn't go on any site,' he insisted, waving his hands in front of him.
‘Why are you trying to lie?' I said. ‘I've got the evidence right here.' He opened and closed his mouth like a fish.
‘The only reason you've done this to me is because I'm deformed,' I wailed. ‘It's because I look disgusting, and you're not getting any at home, so you decided to look elsewhere.'
‘No, that's not the reason!' he replied.
‘Why'd you do it, then?' I asked.
‘I didn't do anything with them,' he said. ‘I met up with one person and we did stuff, but we didn't go all the way.'
It churned my stomach. I didn't want to know exactly what he'd done with those women.
‘Get out!' I yelled.
Tears dripped down my face. He'd completely betrayed me.
The next few days were a blur. But I knew something for sure - I really needed to get my confidence back.
So I decided to book my corrective surgery. And while I was there, why not go bigger?
The surgery went smoothly and I couldn't be happier with my H-cup boobs. Now I'm brimming with confidence. I've got all of my sexy outfits out of the wardrobe - though some of them are a tight fit now! The next bloke I meet will be in for a bumper-sized treat.
Dale should have stuck by me. He just wasn't man enough to handle our ups and downs.
Dale Shaw, 28, said: ‘I admit it - I cheated on Lisa. I was a total idiot, but I'm going to do everything I can to win her back.'
